  This site is an excellent general resource for the person planning a job search.  It is a site designed as a supplement to "What Color Is Your Parachute" the classic job search book by Richard Bolles.
• Career Journal
  This web site offers a special section on job hunting advice--such as interviewing guidance (i.e., should you disclose disability information during a job interview, etc.)

Job Opening Resources

• JobCentral National Labor Exchange
  This is one of the top job opportunity sites on the Internet. It contains a searchable database thousands of job openings nationwide. Openings have been listed with Job Service in all states. Job seekers can also submit an electronic resume that can be searched by employers.
• Job Center of Wisconsin
  Provides a 'one-stop' service for employers to meet their workforce needs and job seekers to get career planning, job placement and training services. Post your resume and search the Wisconsin Job Service Data Base, Wisconsin State Job Openings, Nationwide Job Openings, and more!
• Wisconsin Current Employment Opportunities
  This is the online version of the Career Opportunities Bulletin that is updated weekly. This site provides information on current openings in State service.
• Indeed (One Search, All Jobs)
  A job search site which lists jobs within an area/zip code that is entered.
• CareerPath
  Search newspaper employment ads from 81 newspapers from throughout the United States. The Green Bay Press Gazette is the only Wisconsin newspaper included. The user can also search job postings gathered from leading employer web sites and can post an online resume.
• Wisconsin State Journal and Capital Times Employment Section
  Employment Classified Sections of the Wisconsin State Journal and the Capital Times newspapers from Madison, Wisconsin. (Note: Both newspapers publish their classifieds on the website known as Madison.com.)
• Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel Employment Section
  Employment Classified Sections of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
• Online Job Application Resources
  Hiring information on thousands of major companies as well as comprehensive interview tips and video resources.
• HotJobs.com
  This site focuses on the needs of the experienced job seeker and provides several features geared to the possible interests of this target audience. Headhunters are not allowed to post openings to this site or search resumes on the site.
• Project HIRED
  Project HIRED (Helping Industry Recruit Employees with Disabilities) is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to assist persons with disabilities to secure jobs appropriate to their qualifications and career goals.
• JobWeb
  This site is owned and maintained by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). It offers job openings for college students, recent graduates, and college educated professionals.
• JOBTRAK
  A listing of job openings targeted at college students, graduates, and alumni. They claim to list large numbers of new job openings daily. Has tips on resumes and other job search related issues. Also contains a calendar of job fairs. (NOTE: To use this service to search for job listings you must be a student or alumnus of one of the participating institutions.)
• On-Line Job Applications
  Offers a free online resource helping individuals find specific information and advice on how to apply online and offline to every major company in the U.S.
• CareerMosaic
  Job openings database. Online resume entry. Employer profiles. Search regional and national newsgroups for job announcements.
• JobHunt: On-Line Job Meta-List
  Listing of links to many other job related sites.
• Monster.com
  This site, which some of you may have known as "aboutwork.com",   allows the user to search a database of over 170,000 job opportunities; put a resume online; research companies; and customize a job search using a feature called "My Monster".
• Job Access
  The goal of JobAccess is to enable people with disabilities to enhance their professional lives by providing a dedicated system for finding employment.
• Hire disAbility
  The national leader in creating career expos that bring together the job seekers with disabilities and top companies of Corporate America that are looking to hire qualified men and women with disabilities, thereby creating a more diverse, effective and representative corporate workforce.

  An all-purpose job search website offering job listings from various organizations including not for profits, small businesses, corporations and educational institutions.

  An employment search engine for the USA. In one simple search, the job seeker has access to a massive selection of jobs that are compiled from various internet sources.
