The Office of Veterans (Employment) Services provides a full range of employment services to all Veterans, with priority of service to disabled Veterans, campaign Veterans and other eligible applicants. The major duty of the Disabled Veterans Outreach Program Representative (DVOP) is to provide the intensive services necessary to meet the employment needs of Veterans who are economically or educationally disadvantaged, disabled, homeless, or facing other significant barriers to employment. Your DVOP representative utilizes a case managed approach to assist Veterans to overcome their employment barriers in coordination with partner agency programs within the Workforce Development Centers and Community Based Organizations (CBOs).

To ensure you get off to a good start, please complete the following before scheduling an appointment or walking in the see your local DVOP.

  1. Register in Job Center of WisconsinJob Center of Wisconsin

  2. Have an active e-mail account

  3. Obtain a copy of your DD-214

  4. Create an electronic or hard copy of your resume to bring to the appointment

  5. Complete the Veteran Pre Screening Form - PDF 24 KB | DOC 196 KB

Having these 4 items completed before your visit or schedule an appointment will provide your DVOP the necessary information to begin assisting you in your employment and training service.
