This National Healthcareer Association (NHA) bundle combines Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) and Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist (CEHRS) preparation to equip students with clinical and administrative skills for healthcare employment. Coursework includes medical terminology, human anatomy, and the relationship between body systems in health and disease. Students may test out of the medical terminology component; WIOA-funded students must consult their funding representative before using this option. Students will prepare for duties like patient scheduling and check-in, medical record review, vital sign measurement, administering injections, maintaining equipment and supplies, and supporting providers. EHR instruction covers system functionality, patient and staff interaction, and implementation fundamentals. Includes CPR certification and an unpaid clinical experience.
