Generation of Excellence Trendsetters Nonprofit presents **"Building Bridges and Breaking Barriers in Reentry"** — a 90-hour Community Health Worker (CHW) Pre-Apprenticeship Training designed to prepare individuals to support justice-impacted populations. Over the course of 8 hours per week, participants will gain foundational skills in advocacy, care coordination, and addressing Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) affecting returning citizens. ¿ CHW Pre-Apprenticeship Registration Deadlines Our Community Health Worker (CHW) Pre-Apprenticeship Program is conducted twice a year — in the Spring and Fall — to provide participants with structured training, mentorship, and career development in community health. ¿ Spring Session Last Day to Register: February 28th Class Begins: April Early registration is encouraged due to limited seating and pre-course preparation requirements. ¿ Fall Session Last Day to Register: August 2nd Class Begins: September Spaces fill quickly — register early to secure your place.

¿ Description of Training Fees The total cost for the CHW Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program is $1,650. This fee is all-inclusive and covers the following: ¿ All Training Sessions – 90 hours of instruction led by qualified CHW trainers ¿ Participant Guides & Materials – Printed and/or digital curriculum, workbooks, and resources ¿ Access to CHW Training Database – Exclusive access to class assignments, resources, and job readiness tools via our student portal or Google Classroom ¿ CPR Certification Class – Included as part of the training to ensure participants meet healthcare industry standards There are no additional fees for books, certification, or materials — everything is included to ensure you are fully prepared for a successful career as a Community Health Worker.
Refunds will only be issued if the training agency is unable to provide the service as agreed due to reasons within our control (e.g., course cancellation, instructor unavailability without rescheduling, or administrative error).
