This Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid training prepares students to respond to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies in workplace, community, and home settings. The course follows nationally recognized training standards.Students will learn how to perform high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and respond to choking emergencies. The training also covers basic first aid skills, including how to respond to injuries such as bleeding, burns, and sudden illness. Participants will be trained in recognizing emergencies, assessing a situation, ensuring scene safety, and activating emergency medical services. Emphasis is placed on quick response, proper technique, and confidence in emergency situations.Hands-on practice is included to allow students to demonstrate CPR skills, AED use, and first aid techniques in real-life scenarios. Participants must: Be at least 16 years old Be able to understand and follow instructions in English Be physically able to perform CPR skills, including kneeling, chest compressions, and assisting others Attend the full training session (no partial completion) Successfully complete all required skills testing and evaluations Present a valid photo ID at the start of training Participants are expected to: Actively participate in hands-on CPR and first aid training Follow all classroom safety guidelines and instructor directions

This CPR/AED and First Aid certification training prepares individuals to respond to emergency situations in healthcare, childcare, and community-based settings. It is designed for individuals entering the workforce or current employees who need certification to meet job requirements. After completion, participants can work in roles such as caregiver, personal care aide, home health aide, or childcare worker in assisted living facilities, home care agencies, and childcare settings. This course is part of a larger career pathway and can be combined with CBRF certifications and caregiver training through Hand in Hand Solutionz Academy to increase job readiness and support long-term growth in the healthcare and childcare fields.
Hand in Hand Solutionz Academy provides job placement support to students after successful completion of the training. We assist participants with connecting to local employers, including home care agencies, assisted living facilities, and childcare providers that require CPR and first aid certification. Support includes job leads, application guidance, and interview preparation. Through our network and community partnerships, we help position participants for employment opportunities in healthcare and childcare roles. Job placement is not guaranteed; however, this training supports immediate workforce readiness.

All payments are non-refundable. Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled class may be eligible for a one-time reschedule based on availability. No refunds will be issued for missed classes or failure to attend. If Hand in Hand Solutionz Academy cancels or reschedules a class, participants will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
