This Standard Precautions training prepares students to prevent the spread of infection in community-based residential facilities (CBRF), assisted living settings, and home care environments. The course follows Wisconsin state-approved CBRF training standards. Students will learn proper infection control practices, including hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe handling of blood and bodily fluids. The training also covers exposure control, cleaning and disinfecting procedures, and proper disposal of contaminated materials.Participants will be trained to recognize potential infection risks and apply standard precautions in daily care activities to protect themselves and those they serve.Hands-on demonstrations and real-life scenarios are included to ensure students understand how to apply these practices in a workplace setting.Upon successful completion, students will receive a state-recognized CBRF Standard Precautions certificate and be prepared for rol Show More

This Standard Precautions training prepares individuals to safely follow infection control practices in assisted living, home care, and community-based settings. It is designed for new and current caregivers who need to understand proper hygiene, PPE use, and disease prevention to meet employer expectations. After completion, participants can work in roles such as caregiver, personal care aide, home health aide, or nursing assistant in assisted living facilities, adult family homes, and home care agencies. This course is part of a larger healthcare career pathway and can be combined with CBRF certifications, CPR, and caregiver training through Hand in Hand Solutionz Academy to support job readiness and long-term growth in the healthcare field.
Hand in Hand Solutionz Academy partners with local workforce agencies, community organizations, and healthcare providers to support training and employment opportunities. These partnerships include connections with home care agencies, assisted living facilities, and community-based residential facilities actively hiring trained caregivers. Through these partnerships, participants receive access to job opportunities, workforce resources, and direct connections to employers to support successful entry into the healthcare field.
Hand in Hand Solutionz Academy provides job placement support to students upon successful completion of the training. We assist participants with connecting to local employers, including assisted living facilities, adult family homes, and home care agencies that require staff trained in infection control and safety. Support includes job leads, application guidance, and interview preparation. Through our network and community partnerships, we help position participants for employment opportunities in entry-level healthcare roles. Job placement is not guaranteed; however, this training supports immediate workforce readiness.
