Workforce Development Specialist Certificate - Undergraduate

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the course begins or enrollment capacity is reached. Interested individuals are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to ensure space is available before the start of their intended first semester.

Some or all of the nine undergraduate certificate credits may be applied toward UW-Stout Polytechnic’s B.S. Automation Leadership, B.S. Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management, B.S. Individualized Studies, B.S. Management, and B.S. Psychology degree programs, subject to the requirements of the selected degree.
The certificate’s courses may also fulfill the related-instruction requirements for the optional Workforce Development Specialist Registered Apprenticeship. Apprenticeship participation is separate from certificate enrollment and requires an employer sponsor or mentor, a Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development apprenticeship application, and completion of all applicable apprenticeship requirements.
Tuition refunds are prorated based on the course length and timing of withdrawal requests. Students who withdraw after a course begins may be subject to administrative fees and partial tuition charges.
