Today online and blended learning is an ongoing necessity for instructors in many fields due to the increasing number of institutions using web-based technologies to facilitate learning. The Blended & Online Teaching & Training Certificate (BOTT) provides K-12 teachers, higher education faculty and training professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully to design, assess and facilitate student-centered learning in blended and online environments. At the completion of the graduate certificate program candidates will demonstrate the knowledge and skills to effectively teach or train in online and blended settings and serve as leaders in distance learning initiatives.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the course begins or enrollment capacity is reached. Interested individuals are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to ensure space is available before the start of their intended first semester.

All seven graduate certificate credits may be applied toward UW-Stout Polytechnic’s M.S. Education, M.S. Career and Technical Education, and Ed.D. Career and Technical Education Leadership degree programs, subject to the requirements of the selected degree.
Tuition refunds are prorated based on the course length and timing of withdrawal requests. Students who withdraw after a course begins may be subject to administrative fees and partial tuition charges.
