The CBRF Standard Precautions course prepares caregivers and direct care staff to prevent the spread of infection and maintain a safe environment in Community Based Residential Facilities (CBRFs) in accordance with Wisconsin Department of Health Services requirements. Participants will learn infection control principles, hand hygiene, personal protective equipment (PPE) use, bloodborne pathogen precautions, cleaning and sanitation procedures, and methods for reducing exposure to communicable diseases. Upon successful completion, students will demonstrate competency in Standard Precautions practices and will meet Wisconsin CBRF training requirements for Standard Precautions. Applications accepted year round. Registration must be completed before the scheduled class date

Refund request must be submitted at least 48 hrs prior to the scheduled class date. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 48hrs before class, no-shows or incomplete attendance. Classes canceled by ValorPoint Health LLC will be rescheduled or refunded in full.
