Program Description

The CNC Machining Technician program (1 year) provides training for entry-level employment in a machining environment. Students will be exposed to manual lathes & mills, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines, Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) workstations, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM). Students will gain the foundational knowledge and skills necessary to operate a variety of machine tools, along with other support equipment, to be able to produce parts to meet print specifications. Refunds for all courses scheduled to meet a semester or longer: 100% before the first day the class meets. The day the class meets and not the time of day defines the first class meeting. 80% during the first 14 calendar days from the first instructional day of the term. 60% during the 15th through the 28th calendar days from the first instructional day of the term.
