Career & Technical Education Leadership Certificate

This certificate program is intended to provide background in career and technical education to leaders in technical colleges, K12 schools, or workforce development agencies who seek knowledge of the field in order to be effective leaders. This program does not lead to WI DPI licensure.
Applicants must submit an updated resumé, unofficial transcripts documenting completion of a bachelor’s degree, and a written statement describing their goals for completing the certificate. No teaching license is required.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the course begins or enrollment capacity is reached. Interested individuals are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to ensure space is available before the start of their intended first semester.

The nine graduate credits earned through this certificate may be applied toward the M.S. in Career and Technical Education, M.S. in Education, M.F.A. in Design, or Ed.D. in Career and Technical Education Leadership at UW-Stout Polytechnic, subject to the requirements of the selected degree.
Tuition refunds are prorated based on the course length and timing of withdrawal requests. Students who withdraw after a course begins may be subject to administrative fees and partial tuition charges.
