The Esports Production certificate equips students with the technical skills and industry knowledge needed to excel in the rapidly growing field of esports broadcasting and live event production. Students learn key aspects of video production, live streaming, event management, and content creation using industry-standard tools and technologies. Through hands-on experience and collaborative projects, they will gain practical expertise in producing competitive gaming events and esports-related media.

Applicants must submit the certificate registration form and a 500-word declaration of intent describing their goals for completing the certificate and how it relates to employment or further education. Students must be able to attend required on-campus courses and participate in hands-on production activities.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the course begins or enrollment capacity is reached. Interested individuals are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to ensure space is available before the start of their intended first semester.

The 9 undergraduate credits earned through this certificate may be applied toward the B.S. in Video Production at UW–Stout Polytechnic.
Tuition refunds are prorated based on the course length and timing of withdrawal requests. Students who withdraw after a course begins may be subject to administrative fees and partial tuition charges.
