The Worker's Compensation Division has two councils and one committee that assist with and advise on the worker's compensation program. Each entity has its own landing page with additional information, meeting agendas, minutes, and other information.
The Health Care Provider Advisory Committee (HCPAC) was created by 2005 Wisconsin Act 172 went into effect on April 1, 2006. The purpose of the HCPAC is to update worker's compensation treatment guidelines that are to be considered by impartial health care services review organizations in rendering opinions to resolve necessity of treatment disputes under Wis. Stats. s. 102.16(2m) and s. DWD 80.73 of the Wisconsin Administrative Code.

The Self-Insurers Council is a five-member body appointed by the Secretary of the Department of Workforce Development to assist and advise on the administration of the self-insurance program.
The Worker's Compensation Advisory Council was created to advise the Department and Legislature on policy matters concerning the development and administration of the worker's compensation law.
